U.S. Government Proiects
describe the functions of the Legislative, Executive and Judicial branches of government, and the qualifications one needs to serve as leaders in these areas. Also described are the necessary steps for a Bill To Become A Law.

U.S. Constitution Proiects depict signers of the Constitution and their State Flags. Students learn about the First and Second Continental Congresses; Declaration of Independence; Revolutionary War; and government under the Articles of Confederation. A simple summary of the Constitution and its Amendments, written in modern language, is included.

Bill of Rights Projects describe events leading to its establishment. America's four documents of free-dom are highlighted - The Declaration of Independence; The Articles of Confederation; The Constitution; and The Bill of Rights. History of America's symbol of freedom - The Statue of Liberty - is also included.

Presidents and Presidential Elections give information about qualifications needed to become President, as well as Oath of Office, Term of Office, Residence, Duties, Salary, and Retirement. Two new sheets for duplication highlight the lives of 6 first ladies; New guide to Washington, D.C.

State Flags and Symbols acquaint students with our 50 state flags, seals, flowers, birds, trees, mottos, nicknames, and songs. Students are presented with a format for gathering additional information about each state.
